Description
Photograph article dated January 16, 1957 partially reads, "Rand Connolly, 32, Valley businessman and candidate for the vacant 7th District City Council seat, told Granada Hills campaign workers today that 'the Valley has growing pains and addition of the 7th District gives the valley the strength it needs to hold its own in city council deliberations on problems needing to be solved.' Connolly, director of the Union Insulation Company, is a veteran, married and the father of five children. He is a political science graduate of Loyola University and attended Gonzaga and Santa Clara Universities."
