Description
Photograph of a young boy standing by a lake on Rancho Santa Anita, ca.1920-1940. A bird-chested young man in a sweater vest and khakis is pictured backlit at center with his back towards the viewer. The lake is visible just past him, a large clot of lily-pads just to the right. In the background, tall palms and other trees line the edge of the water. The picture file card contends that the Sierra Mountains can also be seen.
