V1p125a In PHOTO ALBUM-VAULT: ** fc917.9461 A3, Vol. I, page 125 top. This photograph is contained in one of two volumes by Dobbin titled "Album of San Francisco." Text written under photo: "This was an exhibition made by Dampf at the Mechanics Institute, 1880." View is of an indoor exhibit by L. Dampf, "Manufacturer & Dealer in Gold Frames, Passe Partouts, etc." An array of framed pieces are on display. L. Dampf, according to the signs in the photo, was located at Market and Montgomery in the Hibernia Bank Building.
