Wearing leis around their necks, North Hollywood High School valedictorian Ju Young Park poses with Frankie Kwak, after commencement ceremonies on the football field. The school opened as Lankershim High School in 1927 in a bunkhouse. It's come a long way since then. Some names among the notable alumni (actors): Alan Ladd, Martin Milner, Terri Garr, Cuba Goodin, Jr., Brian Austin Green, Alyson Hannigan; (musicians): Edan Everly, John Williams, Michael Tilson Thomas, Christina Milian, and Michael Hutchence (while living in the U.S.), to name but a few. North Hollywood High is located at 5231 Colfax Ave. The mascot is the Husky, and the school colors are blue, white and gray. Photograph dated June 2000.
