Description
William Hertrich, wearing a suit and bow tie, stands at the entrance gate to the Japanese garden. There is a lion-dog statue on either side of the double doors, and the wisteria pergola is visible through the open gate. William Hertrich was Superintendent of Botanical from 1927 to 1949.
