Photograph article dated March 6, 1963 partially reads, "A North Hollywood homeowner declared stoutly today she's going to risk six months in jail and/or $500 fine by throwing her tin cans in with her combustible rubbish when collection day comes Friday. Agnes Pirone, who owns her own home at 4456 Beck Ave., said she will load her rubbish containers with tin cans 'even if they throw me in jail.' Miss Pirone said the whole controversy 'is ridiculous.'"
