Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph article dated March 25, 1961 partially reads, "'Bucks for Bonnets' hat auction and brunch sponsored by the Prospectors Guild of Valley Presbyterian Hospital resulted in baby isolettes, nursery equipment and increased building fund sums for the hospital. Lakeside Golf Club in Toluca Lake was the setting for the fete, at which hospital guild members modeled hats donated by famous designers and women prominent in civic, community and entertainment fields." Pictured is Mrs. R. E. Marquardt, displaying Mrs. John Wayne's chapeau. The guild supports Valley Presbyterian Hospital with volunteer work and financial contributions.
