Description
Photograph of the exterior view of the Pomona Public Library, after 1903. The Greek revival style building has cantilevers walls near the roof, ornamental traceries around the arched windows and doorways, a steep flight of stairs leading to the front entrance and two lampposts guarding the stairs. In the center of the building and near the roof is the words "Public Library" embossed. The lawn in front of the building is well manicured. Two newly planted trees are strategically planted to maintain the symmetry of the façade. The ground in the foreground appears to be dug up. Rocks and dirt are scattered in rows down the street.
