Photograph was edited for publication purposes The Victory-Vanowen Playground, located at 12240 Archwood St., North Hollywood, is now called Valley Plaza Park. Photograph caption dated June 28, 1962 reads "Know how? Take a tip from me. I was in the Victory-Vanowen Park in North Hollywood and it was hot. And the heat was too much and the water sprayer was going and I wanted to cool off. Boy, was that water cold. So I backed in. Then I was wet and I jumped around. Of course you get your pants wet, but who cares. Who cares? Whoops. Here comes Mom. Really, Mom--that man turned on the sprayer just as I was walking by. Minding my business. And the water goes on. Really, Mom. Aw, they'll dry out."
