Photograph caption dated September 21, 1960 reads, "Harold Donald, third from left, West Valley Coin Club president, goes over plans for Sunday's second annual Coin-A-Rama at Encino Community Bldg., 4935 Balboa Blvd., with other club members. Final plans are made around large eucalyptus bust of Lincoln which will be offered as door prize by sculptor. Prof. Merrell Gage, second from left. Also shown are rare coins and Civil War repicas as collector Albert Thompson, left, and Paul Newell, club past president, help make final arrangements for all-day event."
