Photograph caption dated March 9, 1962 reads, "There are two things a violinist can do on stage: play and listen. These are the activities 26-year-old Arnold Sukonic was engrossed in when photographed during a rehearsal of the San Fernando Valley Symphony Orchestra. The award-winning artist performs the Sibelius Violin Concerto with that orchestra at 8:15 p.m. tonight at Fulton Junior High School, 7477 Kester Ave., Van Nuys.
