Photograph caption dated November 2, 1964 reads "The Woman's Society of Christian Service of the First Methodist Church of Van Nuys will sponsor a bazaar from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 13 in the educational building at the church, 6260 Tyrone Ave. Gathering items for the event are, from left, Mmes. Neal Sinkeldam, Ross Barbour and Wayne Bowman. Featured items will include white elephants, Christmas decorations and gifts, home baked goods, candy, toys, aprons, linens, children's clothing and a tea room. A luncheon will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and a turkey dinner will be served from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Reservations are not necessary."
