Photograph of three unidentified Indian baskets on display, ca.1900. Two of them, shaped like large round bowls, sit on a blanket with a zig-zag and striped pattern, in front of a blanket with narrow horizontal stripes. The third one, shaped like a squate jar with short neck and narrow mouth, sits on a wooden pedestal behind the other two. The woven designs are all different including zigzags, triangles, crosses, human and animal figures, etc. Image 33.
