Description
A circa 1865 image shows A.A. Redington, a Master of Union Lodge No 58. The Union Lodge was charted in 1855 as one of the first Freemasonry Lodges in Sacramento. Redington held the position of recorder at the Sacramento Commandry No 2 in 1853, another of Sacramento’s early Lodges. Redington was Master of Union Lodge in 1869 and was elected a trustee by the stockholders of the Masonic Hall Association in 1896.
