Dietz Sr. celebrated their golden anniversary at a party in their honor in the Sun Valley home of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Nightingale. Eight of their nine children, 24 of their 29 grandchildren, and two of their six great-grandchildren attended. The son-in-law and daughter, the James K. Townsends of Fort Smith, Ark., celebrated their 25th anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Dietz have resided in California since 1927."
