Description
Set of 13 slides of examples of tapa cloth, and tapa cloth making in Polynesia. Possibly taken in Tonga. One slide is labeled, "Namuka," of a woman seated on the ground working on her cloth - she is wearing a greenish-colored blouse, with a pink and white skirt. Slides are all dated from summer and fall 1967. Part of work done by Christiansen for her doctorate thesis.
