Marrles Moore, Assembly of God evangelist, presents the teachings of Jesus Christ in a different fashion from most ministers of his faith. A Sioux Indian evangelist related to Sacajawea, the famed "Bird Woman" who led the Lewis and Clark expedition into the Northwest, Mr. Moore preaches the gospel of Jesus Christ from the viewpoint of the American Indian. "With a background of Indian history and customs and using pictures are illustrative material, I present Jesus Christ from the viewpoint of a Christian alien who now accepts Him and praises Him as a newfound hope." The singing evangelist, whose Indian name is Eyanpaha Wakan (Herald of Holiness), will conduct services at the Assembly of God Church, Tyrone Ave., Van Nuys, Sunday at the 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. services and in midweek services Tuesday through Friday at 7:30 p.m., closing his visit Sept. 2."
