V1p424a In PHOTO ALBUM-VAULT: ** fc917.9461 A3, Vol. I, page 424 top. This photograph is contained in one of two volumes by Dobbin titled "Album of San Francisco." Text written under photo: "Gulls in the sunshine of San Francisco Bay. 1923." Photo, taken from an eastbound Ferry, shows the San Francisco downtown panorama through a flock of seagulls. Another ferry, the Southern Pacific's "Berkeley," has likewise just left the Ferry Building. The Fairmont Hotel is visible atop Nob Hill. This image is curved across the top; a black border has been drawn around it.
