Generous Manchester Tramway passengers. The idea of starting collections on the tramcars for the various relief funds originated in Manchester. A large number of other tramway authorities took up the idea. And 44,000 pounds has been collected throughout the country. Of this sum, 24,000 pounds or more than one-half has been collected in Manchester. You are no doubt proud of this achievement. But we haven't finished yet, have we?
