Headshot of philanthropist Clark, Jr., wearing business suit and hat. He was founder of the Los Angeles Philharmonic in 1919, and supported construction of the Hollywood Bowl. Gelatin silver print, monochromatic. Written in ink, "To Mrs. Cecil Frankel, in sincere appreciation of your efforts to make Los Angeles & Hollywood the musical metropolis of this country, I subscribe myself, Affectionately, W.A.Clark Jr."
