Description: With rain falling to aid their growth, new trees were planted over Los Angeles as the city observed Arbor Day. Photo shows officials of the Ebell Club and the Women's Community Service Auxiliary of the Chamber of Commerce and other prominent persons planting a native Washington palm tree in front of the Ebell Club on Wilshire Boulevard. Photo dated: March 8, 1935.
