Photograph caption dated February 5, 1951 reads, "'Scramble' - Four F-51 pilots of Air National Guard 195th Fighter Squadron at Van Nuys race for their ships after receiving order to 'scramble' and intercept invading 'enemy' bombers. Pilots are Lts. E. H. Graham, A. J. Peterson, R. L. Massey and Capt N. H. Spitzer."
