Description
Three gentlemen in Parisian fashions for November, 1831. The man on the left wears brown plaid trousers with a dark stripe down the outside leg. He wears a white shirt with a black cravat, and a moss green waistcoat with a standing collar. His knee-length blue frock coat is cut to fit snugly at the waist, and has leg o' mutton sleeves, full at the shoulder and narrow at the forearms. The coat has a wide shawl collar. He wears gray gloves and black, heeled boots. He has a mustache and goatee, and wears a black top hat. He carries a tasseled cane. The man in the center wears an ankle-length black greatcoat, fastened with elaborate black braid frogging. It has leg-of-mutton sleeves and a high collar. His white cravat is tied high, and he has brown mutton chop whiskers. He wears dark green trousers, and has a spur on the heel of his black boot. He wears gray gloves, a black top hat and carries a tasseled walking stick. The man on the right faces way, showing the fitted back view of his ankle length camel colored coat, with ornate braid detailing at the waist. He has gray trousers, a curly brimmed black top hat, and mutton chop whiskers.
