Description: Grownups as well as youngsters are enjoying the Traveling Circus, Kiddie Carnival and Live Animal Show which is making a tour of 27 Los Angeles municipal playgrounds under the sponsorship of the City Recreation and Park Department. This is a do-it-yourself circus. The children set up the show, raise the tent, learn their acts and then perform in the show. Their parents love it. Photo dated: July 19, 1950.
