Photograph dated February 9, 1954 used in article dated March 1, 1954, caption reads, "Equipment to bore tunnel through mountains on the La Cienega-San Fernando Valley relief sewer line is shown at Forman avenue and Valley Spring Lane, North Hollywood, Valley terminus. The tunnel, costing $3,167,709 is part of the $12,000,000 sewer project, connecting the Valley to the large outfall at Sierra Bonita avenue in Hollywood. The project is scheduled to be completed next year."
