Photograph article dated March 17, 1964 partially reads, "The works of well known Southern California artists will be featured at the second annual art exhibit sponsored by the Altrusa Club of the West Valley from 1 to 9 p.m. Friday at the alpha Beta Community Center, Nordhoff St. and Reseda Blvd., Northridge. Pictures will [sic] be shown will run in value up to $2,500. Among exhibiters will be Paul Lauritz, Cathy Reinhart, Einer Peterson, Catherine Jackson, Shelly Baker, Don Shreves and David Davidivich and recent Fashion Square Square [sic] award recipients, Al and Kay Dempster and Frances O'Farrell." Pictured are Al and Kay Dempster, Tarzana artists, showing some of their paintings to Marti McIntyre, center, Reseda, member of the Atrusa [sic] Club of the West Valley.
