Wood received an award for $638, highest ever paid to a county employe [sic], for the money-saving suggestion...He noted that when criminal cases prosecuted by the District Attorney were appealed, the State Judicial Council required the District Attorney be supplied with transcripts of such cases. Wood suggested the transcripts be required only when the Attorney General's office calls in the District Attorney as associate counsel." District Attorney William B.
