Description: Young participants of the 57th Annual Model Yacht Regatta, held at the Cheviot Hills Casting Pond (now the Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area, Baldwin Hills), watch the model yachts upon the pond and cheer on as winners are about to be announced. The event was sponsored by the Elementary Industrial Arts Office Division of Career and Continuing Education of the Career Education Services Unit. Photograph dated May 31, 1980.
