Description
Photograph of a ski jump in the mountains, showing people lining the ski slope to watch a skier, ca.1930. In the center is the ski slope, and a lone skier makes his way down the hill. To the right of the foreground, two men in suits and hats stand next to a tall tree, watching the skier. At the top of the hill, a stage and structure are seen, to the right of which stands a sign bearing "Last jump longest jump" on it. Lining the right of the hill is a crowd of people standing behind a line of rope beneath an arborous area. To the left is the trunk of a tree in the foreground, and behind it is a snow and tree-covered side, fenced off from the ski slope. Lining the slope is a series of markers with lengths like "150", "200", and "250" inscribed.
