"El Mirador" caption at lower left; "Mr. & Mrs. John J. Mitchell Jr." handwritten at lower right [Built by Jonathan Armour of Chicago in the 1800's, partial residence of Mr. and Mrs. John Mitchell (daughter and son in-law of Armour), gardens developed by Elmer Awl. Became "El Mirador Estates Nursery."]
