Original bronze bust by Irish artist Don Cronin, pedestal created by Jack Barrett. Commemoration of rotunda to MM O'Shaughnessy on April 25, 2001. Was civil engineer, arriving in San Francisco in 1885. Designed water system for city, constructed Hetch Hetchy water system.
