Photograph caption dated November 20, 1963 reads, "The Burbank Ice Hockey Parents Club will sponsor its third annual benefit dinner-dance at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Glen-Aire Country Club, 3910 Stansbury Ave., Sherman Oaks. Lighting centerpiece for the event is Bobbie Highton, 12, young hockey player, as Mrs. Hal Marlowe, Toluca Lake, left, and Mrs. Hec Highton, Hollywood, look on. The parents group, formed three years ago to sponsor one ice hockey team, now sponsors five teams with a total of 80 boys participating. Proceeds help pay for hockey uniforms and equipment. Chairman Arthur Guiney said that more than 250 persons, including Los Angeles Blades personnel, are expected to attend the benefit."
