Description
Photograph of a view of Alexander Valley near Healdsburg, ca.1900. At center spanning left to right are several fields of unidentified plants growing in uniform rows. Tall grasses are visible in the foreground, while flat land dotted with trees and a couple of buildings are visible in the distance. Hills are visible in the background. Photoprint reads: "Would not advice the use of this, as there is not as much vine-yard showing as in other views and but 150 people living out here, hence would not be saleable. There is nothing in this valley worth showing. Mrs. Silberstein".
