Description
Annotation translation: "A photograph of the Seminary. On the street are women going up and down. Between the street and the sea there is a flat area which belongs to the church, and on which on the right a chapel is to be built. At full tide the water comes higher than one sees here. The house on the left could be bought cheaply as living quarters for teachers. We live at the top on the left. On the street side, in an ancilliary room is our living room. Our rooms for eating and sleeping are in the main block, as is the study. Below on the left are servants' rooms and the Seminary kitchen. On the right in an ancilliary part is the current chapel. The tree at upper right conceals a building belonging to the Catholic mission."
Annotation: "Eine Aufnahme vom Seminar.
Note translation: The translation of the annotations as they describe the Wyder's living quarters is difficult - someone who knows/knew this building could probably make more accurate sense of what is written here in German (PJ 09.1998).
