Description
A photograph of Hiroshi Yasumura in Japan Air Self Defense Force uniform. The handwriting on the back reads: Hiroshi Yasumura, a son of Seiji's. He was promoted to First lieutenant of the Japan Air Self Defense Force.
The Akamine and Fuchita Family Papers include letters, certificates, photographs, scrapbooks, high school yearbooks, and other materials related to the Akamine, Fuchita, and Yasumura families. Subjects in the collection include the Manzanar and Rowher incarceration camps, Koyasan Buddhist Temple, Buddhism, World War II, and Japanese American families, and other topics.
