Magda Hartvig (1913-1994). Udsendt af Dansk Santalmission til Nordindien, 1947-78. Arbejdssteder: Kaerabani 1947, Gaorang 1948, Benagaria (Santal Theological Seminary) 1953. Pastor Johannes Thoft Krogh var leder og Magda Krogh underviser ved Den Teologiske Præsteskole i Benagaria, 1953-1971. Undervisningen blev i denne periode udbygget til en teologisk uddannelse på ret højt plan, og fra 1955 af 4 års varighed. Fra 1963 opnåede man anerkendelse fra Serampore Universitets Teologiske Fakultet, så studenter fra Benagaria kunne fuldføre deres uddannelse der på akademisk niveau. Fra 1972-78 afsluttede Johs. Thoft Krogh tjenesten som administrator ved Serampore Senate i Calcutta, Indien. I 1978 blev han hædret med den sjældne æresdoktorgrad ved Serampore Universitet

Missionary, Rev. Johannes Thoft Krogh (1919-1980). Married 1946 to BD in Theology, Magda Hartvig (1913-1994). Sent by Danish Santal Mission to North India, 1947-78. Working areas: Kaerabani 1947, Gaorang 1948, Benagaria (Santal Theological Seminary) from 1953. Rev. Johannes Thoft Krogh was Head, and Magda Krogh teacher in Theology, at the Santal Theological Seminary in Benagaria, 1953-1971. During this period the teaching developed into a theological education at a quite high level, and from 1955 of 4 years duration. From 1963 the Seminary obtained recognition from the Theological Faculty of Serampore University, giving the students opportunity to fulfil their education at an Academic level. From 1972-78 Johs. Thoft Krogh finished his service as administrator at the Serampore Senate in Calcutta, India. In 1978 he was recognized with the rare Honorary Doctorate Degree of Serampore University.
