Photograph of the interior of an American Expeditionary Force barracks showing a double-decked bunk, ca.1915. The wooden beds are at center and are long and narrow. They are stacked on top of each other and have simple dark blankets. There are various military essentials hanging from the head and footboards of the beds, and there is a window at right. The walls of the barracks are made of wood planks, and the floor is also made of wood.
