Description
Gary Kelmenson was the team statistician during SJSC's only NCAA championship season. Lee Evans, a 400m and relay runner, won two gold medals at the 1968 Olympics, where he set the world record for the 400m, which stood for almost 20 years. Lee Evans, 1968 Olympian from San Jose State, is wearing his San Jose State Men's Physical Education jersey. Museum has 3 copies. A 12" x 17" reproduction print is part of the Speed City exhibit.
