Description
An introductory film produced to accompany an exhibition at the Phoebe Hearst Museum of Anthropology, UC Berkeley in 1995. Includes historical 19th century collections and photographs, as well as the work of and interviews with contemporary carvers George Blake (Hupa/Yurok) and Frank Gist (Yurok).
