Description
Originally named Boulder Dam, it was renamed Hoover Dam in 1946. Shown here is a map of Imperial Valley from the Colorado River Basin and Boulder Dam to the Pacific Ocean and Lower California. Cities, dams, levees and channels are marked as well as elevations, with a chart in the lower left showing below sea level elevations.
