Description
Saigon: Millions of Vietnamese, uprooted from their ancestral homes by the Vietnam war, have been forced to fend for themselves in crowded refugee camps and dirty streets. Most don't give a damn about politics... having been shot at by both Communists and allied troops. All they really want is to live in peace. In this 1968 photo, refugees sleep on floor in a typically oriental-looking Buddhist temple in the Cholon section of Saigon.
