Photograph caption dated September 21, 1954 reads "Valley leaders form steering committee for $1,000,000 Valley Presbyterian Hospital at Vanowen boulevard and Kester street, Van Nuys. The hospital will have 60 beds. Left to right, seated, are Victor M. Carter, Mrs. Jeanne Chisholm, Martin Pollard, chairman, and, standing, Paul R. Hunter, AIA, and Samuel E. Lunden, AIA, hospital architects, and Stuart Bankhardt Sr."
