Description
Photograph of a display of handmade clothing created by Mrs. N. Itokawa at Manzanar. The clothing includes blouses, dresses and jackets as well as table linens. There are four figurines on the center of the table wearing bridal clothing. The collection was donated by Ralph "Pete" Merritt, Jr. and Patricia Merritt. It is comprised of photographs from an album created by L. Josephine Hawes, the Chief Nurse at the Manzanar Hospital, and individual photographs collected by Ralph P. Merritt, the Project Director of the Manzanar War Relocation Center.
