Description
Photograph caption dated October 22, 1956 reads, "Inspect old mission wine cellar - Vineyards, like furnishings in San Fernando Mission wine cellar, have disappeared. However, Seminarians Bob Ridley and Ken Buhr take time out after day's priesthood studies to tour underground chambers. They have almost completed six years of study. They leave next year to finish instruction on East coast. During early Valley days, Indians mashed grapes for wine in this Mission cellar."; See images #00139211 through #00139218 for all photos in this series.
