A man on a stretcher is wheeled toward an ambulance while police officers investigate an auto collision at the East Union Street and North Euclid Avenue intersection. A crowd of passersby stands on the sidewalk watching the scene. In the photograph, one can see 1950s era automobiles and the back side of stores that include Sears (532 East Colorado Boulevard), The Broadway (401 East Colorado Boulevard), and Woolworth (387 East Colorado Boulevard). The photograph was taken on May 14, 1955. The original negative was badly damaged and is no longer available.
