Description
A Chinese Lion head made in the Southern Lion dancing style. The lion, painted red, black, and white with black faux fur around the ears, eyes, and mouth, represents courage. The Lion's tail is made of long yellow fabric adorned with red and green stripes and sequins. Lion dancing has a long tradition in China, being performed to bring luck and ward off evil.
