Description
Photograph of a sidewalk showing the first building and campus at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, 1885(?). A park area is shown, with several trees planted on grass, which obscure what would later become the Carriage House to the left. Glimpses of several other buildings can also be seen. All have clapboard siding. The road in the foreground appears to be unpaved.
