Description
Frederick Busch discusses his novel, “A Memory of War.” He begins by explaining that his book takes a look at the generations of family members in the post World War II era. He talks about his main character who is a successful psychoanalyst who has an affair with a patient. He describes his writing style and how it took him several years to pen the novel. Martinson asks Busch to read a passage about a woman who contemplates suicide. He ends the interview by talking about his career as a college professor.
