Description
Illustrates some of the most famous cartographic myths such as the Chinese colony Fou Sang in the Puget Sound area, based upon Hui Shen's supposed voyage in 499 A.D., a dramatic Northwest Passage, and many erroneously placed mountains and rivers, due to a misprojection of the western coast. Locations of Indian tribes and other significant places appear, such as Quivara. Colony boundaries are also noted.
