Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph article dated April 1, 1963 partially reads, "Leaders of the Valley Chapter of the American Association of the United Nations today called for government officials to help halt the 'repeated bombings directed at U.N. associations.' The requests came on the heels of the bombings Sunday night at the Valley offices of the A.A.U.N. in Encino, where a homemade bomb exploded, shattering windows and touching off a minor blaze. The bomb was the second act of apparent anti-U.N. violence in the Valley in a little more than a year." Photograph caption reads, "Chapter officials discuss bombing. Mrs. Presnell and Mr. Walker make phone call."; See image #00130732 for additional photo in this series.
